Whats expected down and dirtyWith a new xpac comes new content and new oh ya guidelines with the growing pupulation of our raiding community the need for more strict rules and guidelines for our raiders is a MUST!!!
We have a complete set of raiding rules in
General raid rules but here is the jist!
To raid minimum requirements are needed:
--Ilvl should be around 346++ ( this will ensure your capabable of maximum DPS Output)
--Gems and enchants ( Goes with out saying, if you dont care about your gear then you shouldnt be raiding)
--Min DPS should be no less then 11k on a Boss single target (Trash doesn't not factor into this)
Raid Invites:
Invites for a raid start 15 minutes before the announced start time. You are expected to be on time for invites, bottom line. Arriving earlier than the announced raid start time does not give you any special priority in getting a raid slot. While we understand things come up, we ask our raiders to remember we are watching out for the best interest of the guild raiders and if you are constantly late or drop group for real life issues, you will lose your Raider rank if your real life is that busy maybe you shouldnt be raiding. Once you are in the raid before first pull, you can afk or do whatever you’d like but you are expected to be in zone, ready to pull at 5 minutes until start time.
Tuesday- Wensday, 7:00pm - 10:00pm, PST
Tuesday- Thursday 6:00pm - 9:00pm, PST
Saturday 10:30- UTC PST
Raid slots are already filled for each group by the raid leader based on objective and subjective factors, not favoritism.
These include:
Raider performance: This is the number one determining factor. It is only common sense for us to take our most raid aware and proficient, highest DPS to any raid. Better performance = more raid time.
Class priorities: which classes are needed most for this particular raid?, which classes do we already have enough of?, etc.
Member status and attendance: better-equipped and/or more knowledgeable/prepared players may receive priority, especially if they are needed for this particular raid, also, players who show up to raids more regularly may receive higher priority in getting slots but ultimately raid slots are assinged and will not be bumped for someone else if you are present and ready to raid.
The above rules ensure that our raids best benefit the guild as a whole. There may be times at which you will be asked to sit out a raid. This is kept track of and we will do our best to ensure you are brought into following raids.
Be Prepared:
Every raider is responsible for coming to raids prepared. This includes all gear being gemmed & enchanted. This also includes coming with flasks, potions/elixirs, reagents, buff food and anything that is common sense to improve your characters performance.
Vent & Chat:
We have a great time together while raiding and there can be a lot of joking and hanging out that goes on during this time. When we are on a boss or dealing with an important aspect of our raids, Vent and raid channel are to be kept clear. This is so that every raider can focus on the task at hand, ask questions, get clarification on their role during the encounter and the raid leaders can do their jobs. If someone needs to be told to be quiet more than once, they may be muted on vent. Respect your guild mates and raid leaders time.
Posting healing or damage meters is
NOT permitted in raid chat. If you want to know what is on a meter, run one yourself or request it to be whispered to you. Keep the raid chat clear. Abuse of this will not be tolerated.
Performance and Preparation:
We have 6 mandatory hours of raiding a week. During this time, every raider is expected to give 110% to their performance. You are more responsible for your over all performance. This includes: Not standing in bad stuff, moving when you have a debuff, going into portals when you are supposed to, innervating/b-rezing when you are called upon, switching targets, off tanking/healing when it’s needed and everything else that is common sense in the world of raiding. If you are lazy in your situational awareness, come unprepared, show up late, don’t DPS as hard as we know you can or generally don’t give your all, you can be replaced. We won't carry fail.
Looting System: Basic your group may very
In 10 man raids, we use the random roll method of loot distribution. These principles are followed.
When a piece of loot drops in a raid, everyone who is able to use the item is able to roll with a few guidelines:
1 Need, 1 Greed, 1 Tier piece, 1 FFA roll until everyone receives 1 item. No double rolling if you've already won something.
Main spec rolls first, then Off Spec
If no one needs the item, it will be DE'd and the shard will be put in the guild bank.
Respecting peoples time:
Conduct detrimental to the raid as a whole is not tolerated. If you continuously do things to endanger the success of any particular raid you will be removed from the raid group.
Anything that is deemed as slowing down or wasting the raids time falls under this rule as well. This includes, but is not limited to, stealing agro from tanks continuously, aggroing mobs when raid is not ready, not following instructions, or not ceasing to talk on vent when asked to. Listen to your Raid Leader & Officers.
