| I would definitely recommend just experimenting a lot as a Paladin for healing, however I would definitely get used to healing in melee range, because... ... guess what? ... blizzard I believe is making us that kind of healer. Think about it, I believe this is the nitch paladin healing has been missing, I have found that if you judge, melee/boss, use crusader strike (you have to be in melee range for this) This causes your holy points to be up about 50% more! Woot! As well as keep your mana-regen soring! Well anyways that is my two cents of paladin healing... enjoy! also check out: http://elitistjerks.com/f76/t110847-holy_cataclysm_holy_compendium/~ great form/article for paladin healers of any kind. | |

| I have to agree, I have already found that the Cata Holy Paladin is great at melee range, due the significant changes in mana consumption & regen. The change over from Mp5 to spirit has been interesting, (a proven advantage when it comes to sharing gear rolls with other healers and selling gear to via the AH among all healers, but if you are really keen on the new holy changes, it allows the much needed conversion of spirit to hit rating for a dps / backheal type paladin, of course if you have specced correctly.... Great for questing/leveling and very helpful in loads of raid situations) Though what's most impressive is the unique holy points / holy power system, which will (granted you use it to your advantage) give you much more healing per second and per mana usage, but also allow a faster reaction to emergency healing situations with the adequit use of Word of GloryThat is a great article too...
